Test Results
The practice will contact patients by phone or letter if test results are not within normal ranges. Patients requesting test results carried out at the Surgery can contact the reception staff after 10am (results are normally processed and received within 5 working days).
Blood Tests
A blood test involves a doctor or a nurse, taking a sample of blood for analysis at a laboratory.
This can help:
- in ascertaining your general state of health
- to confirm the presence of a bacteria or viral infection
- to see how your organs are working
- screening for genetic conditions

X-rays
An X-ray is a safe and painless procedure often used to produce images of the inside of the body. The GP decides whether or not a X-ray is necessary in determining the state of your health. Should it be necessary, the GP will contact you when the results come back to the Surgery.
